Now on the blog...Charlie's first year cake smash! Her mom did a great job with all the fun props and colorful cake. Charlie became obsessed with the number 1 candle! If there is any advice I can give, it's to come overly-prepared for your photo session. :) Everything runs smoother and you get the most out of your session. Great job Alicia!
Taking most of the month of January off was fantastic! But I missed shooting so much, I was doing daily photo shoots of my own kids. :) I was glad to have a few shoots at the end of the month. Miss Charlie was one of them. She is really one of my favorite little clients. She's always darling and SO easy. Her one-year shoot was no exception! Is it really fair for one family to be this gorgeous? They were visiting from South Carolina and Miss Farrah just turned one so it was time to document. I took Jessica's maternity photos before Farrah was born, so it was so nice to be able to meet this little darling in person. I was dying over those eyelashes!
I've decided that First Year Packages are my favorite thing. (Learn about them on my website.) I get to see and photograph babies throughout their entire first year. And in Sylvie's case, before she was even born. I get to see their milestones, talk to their parents about accomplishments and frustrations, and learn all about these sweet babies. For instance, I got to learn on this shoot that Sylvie is a Daddy's girl, she is almost walking (and probably is by now), and the girl loves to drawl any and everywhere, even if her little tights get filthy. :) So much fun to watch this darling baby girl grow up.
Here is a shoot I recently did with my brother and his wife. They've been married two years and have so much fun together (if you can't tell). Love them! And congrats to my sis-in-law - she graduates with her nursing license today!
The temperature on my phone said 25 degrees and there was a slight wind. It was cold. It was very cold. But would sweet little Charlie ever show any signs of discomfort? No. Because, I'm convinced, she's the perfect baby. So easy-going, laid back, happy and GORGEOUS. I love photographing this family. Can't wait for Charlie's one-year shoot next month!
